I recently purchased a silk scarf from Club Monaco, they call it a head scarf. Well, I have a funny shaped head so I am going to wear it like a little old granny - around my neck. But, my "head scarf" made me start thinking about other scarves... Hermes scarves.

Abstract Thought

Abstract art is everywhere. And "everywhere" means I've seen it in a traditional colonial house stocked with English antiques to the 92,000+ items that came back when I searched for abstract art on Etsy. Abstract art has definitely made its statement in fashion with graphic colorblock tees, printed dresses and ties. Sometimes fashion sees the trend first.
Now, canvases with splashes and drips and lines are a fantastic way to add color to a room that lacks a focal point. Or, if you can't hang a 6' painting, try a throw pillow...
