Lucite, Acrylic, Plexiglass

And they're all plastic. Just as platinum, gold and aluminum are all metals the grades are different. Lucite and plexiglass are trademarked brand names, like Kleenex is to facial tissue. High grade plastic, the thicker the better and by better I mean more expensive, is essentially acrylic. Acrylic is what you see used throughout interiors as tables, chairs, trays, accessories, light fixtures, furniture bases, and on and on. It can be sawed, molded, invisibly seamed together to make beautiful and extraordinary pieces for the home.

Acrylic disappears, but is such a fine texture to add to a room.

A buffet table in a dining room or a console in a foyer.

Coffee Table, excellent.

The go-to event chair, acrylic takes it to another level.
