Painting the floor does add lots of character and drama to a room, so it's worth considering for a second or two and perusing the pictures.

Hardwoods looking a little dull? Want to be impractical? Paint them!
It's not totally impractical, it definitely makes a statement. However, the upkeep - i.e. repainting scratches, scrapes and other booboos - might drive you crazy. Painting the floor does add lots of character and drama to a room, so it's worth considering for a second or two and perusing the pictures.
