As a twenty something, the weekends are much more anticipated than any weekday, however when you're on the hunt for the most fulfilling of all jobs and can't seem to land one, the "work week" seems to drag on and on and the coming of another weekend means one more week... what have I accomplished!?
So this week I've taken it upon myself to occupy my time and muse on what I love, what I'm passionate about and what I aim to one day be, an interior designer. Interior design is, as Billy Baldwin was once quoted, "the art of arranging beautiful things comfortably."
To start this journey off right, let me toast to the art of interior design. May it help guide, may it lead to intrigue, may it teach me new things, may it bring about discovery, may it bring a few more beautiful things into view.
And with all toasts you need to toast with a drink. A favorite cocktail, the Pimm's Cup, is absolutely delicious. The recipe found in this month's
Bon Appetit.
